My brother and father

This is a picture pf my second oldest brother and my father.  This is a significant photo because it was taken on a day that my whole family was together.  That day was important to me because seeing my whole family together is a rare sight.  On the day the picture was taken, my three brothers, my father, and my mother and I all went out to dinner.  This is a good picture.  The lighting is nice and the flash is used well.

Dog

This is a picture of my dog.  I have had this dog for almost four years.  The dog's name is Mr. 22.  There is an interesting story about how my dog got his name.  We adopted the dog from the pund and every dog in the pound had a tag with a number on it.  When the lady introduced us to the dog she called him Mr. 22 because the number on his tag was number twenty-two.  Since I couldn't think of any name to give him, we kept the name.  The color of the dogs fur contrasts with the dark background.  Initially, the photograph was dark.  I used the Kodak EasyShare program to enhance the photo.

Plant

This is a picture of the plant that currently is sitting in the middle of my dining room table. Ever since I can remember, my mother has always put a plant in the center of the dining room table. Sometimes she buys the plant herself, but on other occasions, when my father buys my mother some flowers, my mother puts them in water and puts them in a vase in the middle of the dining room table. I used the flash when I took this picture. The plant’s bright green leaves contrast nicely with the dark background of the picture.

Ornamental Plum Tree

This is a picture of the ornamental plum tree in my backyard. The ornamental plum tree blooms annually in the spring and it is said to be the first blooming tree in the spring. This tree has been in my backyard for almost seventeen years. As children, my brothers and I liked to play around the ornamental plum tree. We used to make tree houses in the tree, and after the blooms fell off, small plums would grow on the tree. My brothers and I would throw these at each other. When I took this picture I used the flash. It seemed to make the tree pop out more. The bright pink blooms contrast well with the dark bark of the tree.

Trashcan

This is a picture of my trashcan. Every Wednesday afternoon or Thursday morning before school, I have to roll the trashcans down and out into the alley. We normally have two trashcans but I chose to take a picture of one of them. For the picture of the trashcan I did not use the flash. I did not use the flash because it made the background too dark. The natural lighting also makes this a good picture. I chose to use the white fence and the light sky as the background. I chose this background because it was light in comparison with the dark trashcan.

This photo is absolutely wonderful.  THe blue ribbon is a nice compliment to the mostly black and white photo.  The subject is the peaceful, sleeping baby.

This is a very nice photo.  The colors of the food contrast perfectly with the plain, mostly white background.  Although the whole plate of food may be the subject of the picture, the steak seems to be the true subject.

This is a good picture.  The background, which is the tiled wall, complements the man's tie.  The man drinking from the water fountain is the obvious subject.

This is a stunning picture.  The woman's eyes seem to be the subject of the photo.  The lighting of the photo singles them out.  The light color of her skin contrasts perfectly with her dark hair.

This is an excellent photo.  The subject of the photograph is obvious.  The subject is the couple.  The color of the skin of the couple's faces is perfect against the dark background.
